On Opening Day of the 2010 NFL Season, the NFC Eastern Division champion Philadelphia Eagles turned back the clock to honor the 50th Anniversary of the 1960 NFL Championship team.

For this game only, a 27-20 loss to the eventual Super Bowl XXV champion Green Bay Packers on September 12, 2010 at Lincoln Financial Field, the Eagles wore Kelly Green Throwback jerseys, helmets and pants.

This style replicated the jerseys worn by the 1960 Eagles, who defeated the Green Bay Packers, 17-13, to claim the 1960 NFL Championship.
