Keith Tkachuk wore this blue jersey while playing for the Atlanta Thrashers during the 2006-07 National Hockey League season. This jersey has been photo-matched to the Thrashers' 4-2 win over the Florida Panthers on March 6, 2007, and to their 4-2 victory over the Washington Capitals on March 12, 2007. Tkachuk was wearing this jersey when he scored his first and second goals with the Thrashers on March 6, 2007 against the Florida Panthers in Atlanta, GA. The first goal opened the scoring at 2:41 of the second period and was assisted by Ilya Kovalchuk and Greg de Vries. The second was scored on the power play at 18:09 of the third, on assists by Scott Mellanby and Pascal Dupis. The Thrashers won the game 4-2. Tkachuk was also wearing this jersey the next week when he scored his first game-winning goal with the Thrashers on March 12, 2007 against the Washington Capitals, also at home in Atlanta. That goal, the Thrashers' third of the game, came at 14:30 of the second period and was assisted by Eric Boulton. The Thrashers went on to win 4-2. At the 2007 trade deadline, the struggling St. Louis Blues traded Tkachuk to the playoffs-bound Thrashers for Glen Metropolit and a first, second, and third round pick. Tkachuk played in 18 regular season games with the Thrashers, scoring seven goals and adding eight assists while earning 34 penalty minutes. In four games of the playoffs, the first ever for the Atlanta Thrashers franchise, he scored a goal and two assists as the team suffered a sweep by the New York Rangers. After the playoffs were over, Tkachuk would be traded back to St. Louis, along with a conditional fourth-round pick, for a first round pick. After being selected in the first round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft by the original Winnipeg Jets, Tkachuk played in 10 seasons with the franchise, serving as their captain for seven years. He went on to play eight seasons with the St. Louis Blues, interrupted only by a few months in Atlanta. While playing in 1,201 games during his NHL career, Tkachuk scored 538 goals, the third-most by a US-born player and the 34th-most in NHL history. His 1,065 points are the sixth-most by an American player. Tkachuk also earned 2,219 penalty minutes, the 41st-most in NHL history. In 1997 he won the Maurice Richard Trophy for scoring the most goals in the NHL. Representing his country, Tkachuk won a gold medal with Team USA at the 1996 World Cup of Hockey and a silver medal at the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, eventually becoming one of only two men to represent the United States in four Olympic Games. His number 7 was retired by the Arizona Coyotes on December 23, 2011, the same year that he entered the United States Hockey Hall of Fame. These light blue jerseys initially debuted as the Thrashers' alternate jersey during the 2003-04 season. Using a tertiary color from the crest as a base and featuring asymmetrical sleeves, they were one of the most eye-catching jerseys worn by any NHL team during the 2000s. The jersey includes a Certificate of Authenticity from MeiGray.
