Chris Nilan wore this red jersey while playing for the Montreal Canadiens during the 1987-88 National Hockey League season.

Nilan, one of the NHL's fiercest enforcers of the 1980s, served 209 penalty minutes in just 50 games for the Canadiens in 1987-88, and scored seven goals with five assists before being traded to the New York Rangers.

This fighter's jersey features black marks and the Canadiens' distinctive circular repairs as evidence of use. It includes a Classic Auctions Letter of Authenticity with a photo-match to a dressing room posed photo that shows loose threading in the lower right corner of the "3," extra threading on the right edge of the nameplate, loose thread in the second "C" in CCM and a chunk missing from the right part of the "M" in CCM.
