Marsh starred in the WHA during his first three pro seasons before spending his first season-and-a-half in the NHL with the Winnipeg Jets. His first full season with Chicago was 1981-82, and he scored 10 goals with 18 assists. He scored 167 points (91 goals, 76 assists) in the WHA and 119 points (48 goals, 71 assists) in 278 NHL games over five seasons.
