This white New York Rangers game-issued jersey is from the rarely seen backup set of white jerseys the Rangers prepared for the 1994 Stanley Cup Finals.

The Rangers wore their white Finals jerseys in Games 1, 2, 5 and 7, in the Stanley Cup Team Photo, and at the New York City parade down Broadway's Canyon of Heroes.

This jersey was originally distributed by the Rangers in 1995, with a letter on Neil Smith's 1994 New York Rangers Stanley Cup Champion letterhead signed by the President and General Manager stating that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the jersey goes to the National Committee for the Prevention of Child Abuse.

The Rangers prepared two sets of white jerseys for the Finals, in which they won their first Stanley Cup since 1940.
