Under this partnership, a portion of every sale will go directly to the NHL Alumnis Hockeys Greatest Family Fund.
We think this will be a great partnership. Said NHL Alumni Associate Executive Director Mark Napier. MeiGrays reputation for integrity and authenticity is unparalleled in the hockey collecting world. The Alumni Association is proud to offer the chance for collectors to enjoy jerseys and memorabilia from past greats of the game. And best of all, together we will be helping former NHL players in need.
We are honored to be welcomed into Hockeys Greatest Family, said MeiGray Group President and Chief Operating Officer Barry Meisel. Were proud to be asked by the former players who have made hockey the worlds greatest game. Were eager to help them share their memorabilia with collectors. There are some wonderful jerseys and historic pucks and sticks out there that the players want to share with the world.
Collectors should feel good knowing that as these one-of-a-kind items enter the hobby, a portion of every sale will help a worthy cause like the Hockeys Greatest Family Fund. Its a win-win situation for the hobby and the players.
The NHL Alumni Association was founded in November 1999 and now represents more than 2,500 former NHL players. NHLAA assists all former players transition from the great game, while working with local charities in North America to assist their worthy causes. The NHLAA is excited to build programs such as this to assist those players who created our games great heritage.
MeiGray, which also directs the AHL-MGG and ECHL-MGG Game-Worn Jersey Programs, has sold more than 40,000 game-worn jerseys since 1997. MeiGray also has working relationships with the NBAs Dallas Mavericks, MLBs Texas Rangers, and the NFLs Philadelphia Eagles.
