|According to the NHL's internal records from this All-Star Game, this jersey was one of four worn by former Penguins superstar Jaromir Jagr during the 1996 NHL All-Star Game at Boston Garden in Boston, Mass.
In 1996, a now-defunct authentication company called Sports Registry tagged and bar-coded each jersey for the NHL.
Records provided to MeiGray by the NHL confirmed that No. 44006332 was the jersey worn by Jagr in Set 3, the set that was given to the NHL after the game.
The NHL's internal records identified and numbered the four sets worn in the game (Warmup, 1st period, 2nd period, 3rd period) but did not identify which set was worn in which period.
So while we know Jagr wore this jersey in the 1996 NHL All-Star Game at Boston, it is not known exactly when in the game he wore it.
The Eastern Conference All-Stars defeated the Western Conference All-Stars 5-4. Jagr contributed with a goal at 2:07 of the second period.
