Edmonton Oilers 2017-18
#97

Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid used this CCM Super Tacks Stick while competing in the Fastest Skater event at the 2018 NHL All-Star Skills Competition. The stick is photo-matched.

McDavid won his second consecutive Art Ross Trophy in 2017-18, setting a new career high in goals (41) and adding 67 assists for a total of 108 points, raising the bar even higher after his dominant 2016-17 season.

At 19 years and 266 days old, the Oilers entrusted their leadership to the Richmond Hill, Ontario, native whom they selected first overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. He became the youngest captain in National Hockey League history on October 5, 2016.

And McDavid is delivering, as advertised. The Oilers clinched their first Stanley Cup playoff berth since 2006 on March 27, 2017 ... and defeated the San Jose Sharks in the first round before losing a tough seven-game series to the Anaheim Ducks.

McDavid that season captured his first Art Ross Trophy as the NHL's leading scorer, his first Hart Trophy as the NHL's Most Valuable Player, and the Ted Lindsay Award as the NHL's Top Player as voted by the NHL Players Association.
