The Nashville Predators wore their Gold Set 3 jerseys from March 18, 2023 through April 13, 2023.This jersey has two team repairs on the left sleeve and six team repairs on the right sleeve.The Predators added the Covenant School Patch to their jerseys for the first time on April 1, 2023 to honor the three adults and three children who lost their lives in the mass shooting at the Presbyterian Church in America parochial elementary school in Nashville's Green Hills neighborhood. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Predators jerseys with the Covenant School Patch will be donated to the Caring for Covenant Fund to support the healing of those affected by this tragedy. Acquired from Edmonton on February 28, 2023, Barrie finished the 22-23 season with 85 games played, 24 of which were with Nashville. He joined the team on March 2, 2023 and played in his 750th career game on March 12, 2023. He scored 3-9—12 after joining the Predators and wore an A for several games, serving in a veteran leadership role for the young players on the team.
